Hello, and happy christmas / new year. I’m looking forward to getting back running again hopefully later this month after successfully finishing my first half marathon in Ireland early December and pulling something in the process resulting in a bit of a rest from running since.
Anyhow my question is this – I’m looking to sign up to the Edinburgh Half Marathon in May and there is an option to get a discount by registering for it as part of a reciprocal club. Can I do this or are spaces / discounts reserved for Clubs and, in which case, how do I go about seeing if anyone else from this club is doing that? Hopefully that makes some sort of sense. Hi Andy, Great to hear from you. We were worried as we hadn’t heard or seen you !
When you enter a race you enter as a member of an affiliated club so don’t pay as much regardless of whether anyone else from the club is doing the race. I’m sure there will be others doing it anyway.
