Laura in the desert – day two…

Another day done for Laura, she says:

Me again – still alive, and amazingly still no blisters, although my lumpy heel is quite painful. Brutal stage today, felt like running through a furnace – or rather walking through a furnace as that’s all I can manage right now.
Stuck with tent mates Claire, Brian and Sue -will prob stay with them over the next 2 stages too. Thanks to everyone for emails – means a lot to get those. 
Disaster yesterday when I lost my spoon, happiness today when I found it. Simple pleasures. 
Seen too many naked men to count! Struggling to eat all my food, but will try harder tomorrow. Being chucked out of the email tent, so better go. xxx
