Why?
This session is designed to stay acquainted with running fast, but done in short bursts. This will help keep your body ready for the return to racing…

How?
Take a steady warm up for 5/10 mins.
Then complete 8x 2mins intervals at moderate effort (7/8 out of 10) with 1 min recovery between efforts.
Take 5 min gentle jog recovery.
Then complete 8x 1min intervals at hard (9 out of 10) effort with 2min recoveries.

Cool down for 5/10min.
