Well done to Elliot completing his 25th Parkrun milestone. I think that the other two in the photo have done quite a few as well. What a fantastic thing parkrun is. (Thinks to self .. must get out and do a few more..)
A bit about difficult parkruns
I asked AI some questions about parkrun relating to RSE e.g. which member of the club has done the most parkruns. AI wasn’t able to answer – maybe someone with more skills could get a better result. So I asked other questions about the hardest parkruns which might interest you (or might not!). You have to go to Australia or South Africa for the toughest but here’s a bit about the UK
Woolacombe Dunes is infamous for its challenging sand dunes. However, Athletics Weekly in 2020 rated Great Yarmouth as more difficult. AI says Coed Cefn-pwll-du is the hardest parkrun in Wales; in Scotland it’s says Drumchapel parkrun (Glasgow) and PL parkrun (near Perth)
In Gloucestershire it’s Stratford Park parkrun, Stroud; in Wiltshire it’s Thoulstone parkrun (Marlborough Common also gets a mention (as it has some inclines and is run entirely on uneven grass, which can be sapping on energy)
