“After having 4 weeks off with no running, I was very nervous about taking part as the course is hilly, with elevation on 664 ft.
So very pleased to have finished in a reasonable time.
There were 3 water stations and lots of goodies at the finish and the rain held off  😄”

Annual Awards Night

Last night was a fabulous evening, with RSE members and partners enjoying great food, drink and dancing and the opportunity to get to know each other that bit better. How lucky we are to have such a sociable club, along with a great committee who work hard to organise nights like that, alongside the normal running of the club. Thank you all.

Congratulations to all the award winners!

Our overall 2025 champions are Alan Powderhill and Nia Glover.

Zoe Markham Lee won the Ladies Endurance trophy and Jenny Glass and Rebecca Southerington shared the Short Stuff prize after a tie.

Phil Hudson took the Men’s Endurance title, with James Ball winning the Short Stuff category.

Sara Juggins won the Paul Coates Most Improved Runner Award

Paul Robertson won the Rochelle Ravenscroft Runner’s Running Award

There are many photos circulating on WhatsApp, so here are just a couple, showing our champions, Alan and Nia.

The full breakdown for the championship can be found at https://www.runningsomewhereelse.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RSE-Championship-2025-Final.pdf
