I am pleased to announce that we now have a completed the line up for the 2015 Club Championship! A full list of the chosen races can be found on the Championship page.
The first race of the season is a new race and new distance and will be the Wiltshire 10. This is a 10 mile race starting in Melksham passing through Lacock and along the river Avon. Entry to the race is now open (via EntryCentral) and is about £14 until 31st Dec.
The Bath Half Marathon is the second race, also now open for Entry via the Bath Half website. As this suggests this is a half marathon that consists of 2 loops around the city of Bath. The course is “undulating” but can be quite fast. The cost of this race is quite high at £42.50 but it is a well supported and friendly race, which will help you to carry on and cross the finishing line.
The only other new race to be added to the Championship was the Cricklade Half Marathon, which is likely to be in early October. This and the other races in the Championship have yet to officially open. I will naturally try to keep you informed as to when entries open for the various races. That said, you may want to keep an eye out for when they do open.
So until 15th Feb good luck with the training and may your winter be injury free!
