Sessay Swift 6km
On Weds 23rd, Matt Lambourne took part in the Sessay Swift 6km. Matt completed this in 21:42, and finished in 13th place overall.

Winchcombe Hill Climb 10km
5 intrepid club runners scaled Belas Knapp for the Winchcombe Hill Climb 5km and 10km. In the 10km race we had Sarah Gray, 70:24, Kate Potter 73:22, Jenny Hoffman 73:47, and Laura Butler 81:06. Well done to Kate for completing her Ten 10kms, fantastic! Elspeth Murano also completed the 5km.
Flying Monk Malmesbury Carnival 10km
3 of our runners competed in the Malmesbury 10km. First in for the club and first in her age group was Sharon Smith, 54:30, followed by Cat Shelley and Alice Mason, 1:02:32 and 1:04:44 respectively.
Severn Bridge Half Marathon and 10km
This race was the 9th race in the club championship, an undulating course, which started on the Severn Bridge, crossed back into England then back across the bridge to finish. A great effort with 4 runners completing their first half marathons, well done Martin, Laura, Ellie and Sandie.
First in for the club was Matt Lambourne, 1:30:10, followed by Mark Manley, 1:39:05. First lady home was Emily Jeffries in 1:46:31, followed by Nadine Brown with an excellent PB of 1:51:54.

Becky Heal competed in the 10km, also running across the iconic bridge, and completed another 10km towards the ten 10kms challange, Becky finished in 1:35:10, great work Becky!
The 401 Festival of Running Portishead Half Marathon
New club member Mamunul Wahid competed in the Portishead Half marathon as part of the 401 Festival of running this weekend. Mam finished in 17th place overall and completed in a time of 1:39:54, well done!!
