Matt Lambourne took part in the Escrick 10km, this was a multi-terrain but flat course that started and finished in the village green, and was mostly run on trails round the Escrick Park Estate. Matt finished in 40:37. That’s another 10km ticked off for Matt, well done!
There was a busy weekend of park running by various club members at a variety of venues! Some of our ladies even mixed with Olympians. As a thank you to lottery funding, many Olympians agreed to take part in their local park run. So in Cheltenham, Kate Potter, Jenny Hoffman, Ruth Herbert and Alice Mason ran alongside Olympic rower James Cracknell. Well done ladies.

Tough Mudder Weekend
A number of RSE club members took part in this years Tough Mudder South West, in Badminton, a 10 mile mud and obstacle course with obstacle names like the “Arctic Enema”, designed to test strength, stamina and mental grit.
Well done to Nadine Brown, Phil Scoble, Ryo Taylor, Emily Jeffries and Jon Collins who all took part over the weekend in their different teams. Fantastic efforts all round, hope you’re not all suffering too much from it!
