Great running from 3 RSE members on Wednesday evening at the Lethbridge 10k. The race started and finished in Old town and took the runners along a series of footpaths, trails and roads, including the old railway line. First home for the club was Mark Manley in 42.49, followed by Jonathan Lewis 46.34 and Steve Sandercock 51.16. Well done you guys!
CHELTENHAM CHALLENGE 10K
Well done to Elspeth Murano who competed in the Cheltenham Challenge 10k on Sunday, this challenge was part of a selection of races offering the runners various distances which included a 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, Marathon and an Ultra Marathon. The 10k race started at the Racecourse and took the runners on a hilly, multi-terrain, muddy route, alongside the GWR steam railway, through fields, along footpaths to Prestbury and back again. Elspeth completed the course in 1.42.00.
Swindon – Steve Sandercock 24.36, Mark Manley 26.07 and Caroline Sandercock 31.32.
