PARKRUN’S

Well done to Sally Jamieson who ran in the Swindon 5k parkrun in a time of 26.03, and Amanda Rowan who ran in the Cheltenham parkrun in a time of 37.50.
BERLIN MARATHON
Huge congratulations to Mark Manley who travelled a little further this weekend to compete in the Berlin Marathon, one of the largest and most popular road races in the world.  He completed the city wide course in 3.37.37.

CIRENCESTER PARK 10K
25 RSE members competed in the Cirencester Park 10k on Sunday. A beautiful sunny morning bought 381 runners and their supporters to the beautiful surroundings of the park. Brilliant results from all, as the course was a tough one! Including running up the unforgiving ‘Big Bertha’ twice!!  First home for the club was Matt Lambourne who finished in 40.08, followed by Mark Garrett 41.07, Timothy Hodgetts 41.42, Rebecca Ferry 44.23, Andrew Maddison 45.34, Graham Aitchison 47.24, Sharon Smith 47.35 (1st LV65), John Buck 47.38, Martin Pitts 48.08, Dave Whitlow 48.09, Elaine Chapman 48.23, Jon Collins 49.55, Brian Pitt 50.43, Laurie Davis 51.06, Steve Sandercock 52.44 (PB), Kirsty Pitts 53.34, Sophie Dennett 54.32, Nick Grinham 54.33, Jenny Hoffman 59.21, Sally Jamieson 1.01.43, Caroline Sandercock 1.05.46, Amanda Rowan 1.19.05, Andrea Wood 1.21.10, Becky Heal 1.25.14 and Elspeth Murano 1.31.58.
One of our newest members Nick Grinham also completed his 100th 10k this year!  Well done Nick, what an amazing achievement.
A special mention to Steve for achieving a PB on this very tough course, Well done!

FOREST OF DEAN HALF MARATHON
Fantastic results from Ivor Probert and Kate Potter who ran in the Forest of Dean Half Marathon on Sunday.  The course followed undulating forest trails, taking in some interesting hill challenges!  But also experiencing the beautiful colour changes of the trees.  Well done to Ivor who finished in 1.57.45 and Kate who finished in 2.34.19.

PARKINSON’S SPOOKY SPRINT 10K
Well done to Pete Whitmore who ran in the Parkinson’s spoooky sprint 10k at Waddeson Manor, Aylesbury on Saturday.  A spooky run in the dark with only a head torch to light your way.  Pete completed the course in 1.12.30.
