The committed training is certainly paying off for the 19 RSE runners at the Bourton 10k on Sunday when twelve achieved PB’s. Well done to Liz Coombs (51.17) who smashed her PB by more than three minutes and Matt Lambourne (39.37) by just under three minutes. First male to finish the race for the club and head the leader board in the first race of the clubs championship was James Thomas with a PB of 38.19 followed by Simon Bowers in 38.44. First lady for the club and with a Pb was Sharon Baldwin in 44.59 and second in her age group. Also second in her age group and a PB was Sharon Smith in 47.09. Other PB’s recorded were Dave Witnall 41.22, Wayne Edginton 46.11, Paul Coates 47.04, Sharon Rastelli 47.17, Roy Joslin 49.43, Sophie Dennett 50.46 and Louise Abbott 59.09.
