Ivor pulls it out of the bag at Angels 10k

Well done to Ivor Probert who achieved a PB despite this VERY VERY VERY VERY hilly but scenic course.

REPORT
17 RSE runners took part in the Angels 10k in Gloucester on Sunday. Congratulations to Ivor Probert
who was the only RSE runner to achieve a Pb in what is the hilliest race in the clubs calendar. Ivor beat
his previous years race time by 3 minutes and knocked 45 seconds off his PB.
First to cross the line and leading the Championship table for the club was Captain Mark Garrett
in 38.28 and 12th overall and 3rd MV40, seconds later Simon Bowers finished in 38.44 followed by Russell Young in 39.28.
First home for the ladies and finishing together were Sharon Baldwin and Deb Barry in 45.53 picking up 2nd and 3rd in the LV55 category.
Well done to Sharon Smith who collected the prize for 1st LV60 when she completed the course in 48.38.

    Mark and Simon in joint 1st in the men’s. Debbie out in front for the ladies.
    Well done today, everyone (especially Ivor). A challenging, but very nice, course.
