GENEVA HALF MARATHON

Well done to the Fourteen RSE runners who travelled to Switzerland bank holiday weekend for the Geneva Half Marathon.
The route started in Chene-Bourg and took in vineyards, rape fields, tiny villages and a downhill to Lake Geneva. Despite the hot sunny day Ruth Herbert , 1.55.07, Jenny Hoffman, 2.11.42 and Roy Joslin, 1.54.52 all managed to achieve Pb’s.
Other times: Kirsty Pitts 1.59.05, Paul Coates 2.01.08, Tracey Pitts and Caroline Coates 2.18.23, Kate Potter 2.27.10, Sallie Clatworthy 2.27.21, Caroline Terry, Jacki Day and Christine Coombes 2.29.21, Ella Czervenka 2.32.03.
Well done to 12 year old Jana Czervenka who ran eight and a half minute miles in the 3km junior race.
To top the weekend off who should they bump into at the airport but none other than SEB COE who was happy to be photographed with them. Check out the photo’s in the gallery.
